Choir,

Well what can I say about what was accomplished this year.  We started out the year with bang with Pastor Kate's first Sunday coinciding with our first service of the season.  Not long after that we participated with the youth and congregation in the installation service for Pastor Kate.  The Christmas season saw our first attempt at a dinner / theatre.  We along with the assistance of many people presented The Living Light.  Not only was it a success in terms of how it was received, but we made up all our costs with some to spare.  This also was the first of many presentations that have and will make good use of our beautiful Werner Heritage Hall.  A special thanks goes out to not only you but all who participated in any way, from sets and costumes to food and decorations.  Thanks to Laura for her balancing act rehanging the sound panels after they were 'wrapped'. 

Our Christmas services were great, the very early Lent and Easter seasons were as well – even with not much time to prepare.  As we prepared for the usual end of the season in June, I wanted to do something that would be a positive worship experience for all – not just those who choose to come out in the evening for a concert.  We presented a choral worship entitled "Telling the Story".  A SPECIAL thanks goes to Dianna Repp for writing and compiling ALL of the readings that tied our music together so well.  Comments have been received in record numbers from people who were moved by this worship experience.  What a way to go out for the season.

Now the summer is upon us.  While we will have no regular schedule of rehearsals, we haven't hung up special music offerings for the summer.  Thanks to those who have already presented special music.  In addition, I will be emailing from time to time with information about rehearsals planned and who would be the desired participants.   Watch your email during the summer and THANKS AGAIN!
